How SlotAudit counts a spin and checks the result
A slot can send many messages after one click. SlotAudit joins the tumbles, free spins and final payout back to the wager that started them. That gives you a clean spin count and keeps each way of playing separate.
One click can produce many game events
You pay for one spin. That spin may include tumbles, respins, free spins and a payout that arrives several steps later. SlotAudit keeps those steps with the spin that started them. Only a new wager increases the spin count.
A tumble is not another paid spin. A feature payout is not a second win on top of its final total. Counting either one twice would make the dashboard wrong.
How we calculate observed RTP
We add the returns from the selected spins and divide them by the money wagered on those spins. An ante surcharge and a bonus-buy price count as wager. Free spins and tumbles add no new wager.
Observed RTP describes this recorded sample. The provider's stated RTP describes its game model over a much longer run. One does not prove or replace the other.

RTP compares return with everything you wagered. Your starting balance is different. The same euro can fund several spins, so a EUR 100 balance can create far more than EUR 100 of total wagers.

Volatility is the shape of the ride
Two games can end with a similar observed RTP and feel nothing alike. One may return small amounts often. Another may lose for long stretches and depend on a few large wins. We measure the difference with zero-return spins, losing streaks, bonus gaps, drawdown and the share of return produced by the biggest wins.
More spins make those estimates steadier. They do not make the game less volatile.

We keep every way of playing separate
Standard spins, ante bets, super ante bets, bonus buys and super buys have different costs. SlotAudit calculates each one on its own. A bonus that starts during a standard or ante spin stays attached to that spin. A purchased bonus uses the purchase price as its wager.
If an old record cannot show how a bonus started, we leave it out of mode-specific results. We do not guess.
